Dive Into Adventure: The PADI Scuba Diver Course

Short on time but long on curiosity? If you’ve always wanted to breathe underwater but aren't quite ready to commit to a full multi-day certification, the PADI Scuba Diver course is your perfect entry point.

Think of this as your "intermediate" step—it’s a subset of the Open Water Diver course that allows you to get certified quickly and start exploring the blue under the guidance of a pro.

What You’ll Learn

This course is designed to build your confidence and basic skills through a mix of theory and hands-on practice:

 * Knowledge Development: Learn the fundamental "rules of the road" for diving through PADI eLearning.

 * Confined Water Sessions: Master basic gear setup and essential underwater skills (like clearing your mask) in the safety of a pool.

 * Open Water Dives: Complete two dives in the ocean to experience the magic of the reef firsthand.

Your Certification Perks

Once you earn your PADI Scuba Diver rating, you’ll be qualified to:

 * Dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).

 * Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, or Instructor.

 * Rent or buy scuba gear and participate in organized dive trips.

 * Level up easily: You can credit this certification toward your PADI Open Water Diver license whenever you're ready!

Why Choose This Course?

The PADI Scuba Diver course is ideal for vacationers or those who only plan to dive a couple of times a year while accompanied by a guide. It’s the ultimate way to swap the snorkel for a tank without spending your entire holiday in a classroom.

      Please note

        1. Health & Fitness

Your safety is the priority. All divers must complete a PADI Medical Questionnaire.

The Rule: If you can answer "No" to all the health questions, you’re good to go.

The Exception: If you answer "Yes" to any condition (like asthma, heart issues, or persistent sinus problems), you aren’t necessarily disqualified! It just means you need a physician’s signature on the medical form before you can get in the water.

Pro Tip: Download the form early so you have time to visit your doctor if needed.

        2. Swimming Ability

You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you must be comfortable in water too deep to stand in. For the Scuba Diver course, you will be asked to:

Float or tread water for 10 minutes without any swim aids.

Show basic water comfort (some instructors may ask for a short, untimed swim).

        3. Age Requirements

        Minimum Age: 12 years old.

Junior Divers: Divers aged 12–14 earn a "Junior" Scuba Diver certification, which comes with specific depth and supervision limits. This automatically upgrades to a standard certification when they turn 15.

        4. Time Commitment

        Duration: Usually 3 days.

Theory First: Most students prefer PADI eLearning. This allows you to finish all the "classroom" work online at home before you arrive, so you can spend your time at the club actually diving.

        Frequent Questions

"Do I need to buy my own gear?"

Not for this course! We provide all the specialized equipment (tanks, regulators, BCDs). You just need your swimsuit, a towel, and a sense of adventure.

"What if I'm nervous about breathing underwater?"

That is completely normal! Our instructors start in very shallow water where you can simply stand up if you feel uneasy. We move at your pace.
