You’ve already taken the first step and discovered the magic of the underwater world. Now, it’s time to push your boundaries! The *Advanced Open Water Diver* course is all about gaining experience, building confidence, and exploring new types of diving under the supervision of a pro.

*The Best Part:* There’s no "classroom" time and no final exam. It’s all about learning through *5 themed dives* in the open water.

Why Take the Advanced Course?

 * *Go Deeper:* Extend your depth limit from 18m (60ft) to *30 meters (100ft)*.

 * *Master Navigation:* Stop guessing where the boat is; learn to use a compass and natural landmarks like a pro.

 * *Refine Your Skills:* Perfect your buoyancy, stay underwater longer by using less air, and feel more relaxed.

 * *Global Access:* Many world-class dive sites (wrecks, deep walls) require an Advanced certification for entry.

What’s Included in the Program?

The course consists of *5 Adventure Dives*. Two are mandatory "core" dives, and you get to choose the other three based on your interests:

Mandatory Dives What You’ll Learn

*Deep Diving* Techniques for diving up to 30m, managing gas supply, and physiological effects.

*Underwater Navigation* | How to use a compass, kick cycles, and visual landmarks to find your way.

*Choose 3 Electives to Match Your Interests:*

 * *Peak Performance Buoyancy* – Master the art of hovering and protect the reef.

 * *Wreck Diving* – Learn the safety protocols for exploring sunken ships and planes.

 * *Night Diving* – See the reef transform as nocturnal creatures come out to play.

 * *Fish Identification* – Learn who's who beneath the waves.

 * *Search and Recovery* – Use lift bags and search patterns to find lost objects.

How It Works

 1. *Knowledge Development (E-Learning):* Complete the theory online or via the PADI App at your own pace before arriving at the dive center.

 2. *The Adventure Dives:* Over *2 days*, you will complete 5 dives with your instructor, applying what you've learned in a real-world setting.

 3. *Certification:* Upon completion, you’ll receive your digital PADI Advanced Open Water Diver card—your passport to deeper adventures worldwide.

  Prerequisites

 * *Certification:* PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another agency).

 * *Minimum Age:* *12 years* (for Junior AOWD) or *15 years*.

 * *Health:* Be in good physical health for diving.

      Please note

        🩺 Medical Requirements

Your safety is our priority. All students must complete the PADI Medical Participant Questionnaire.

If you answer "YES" to any of the health questions (e.g., asthma, heart conditions, or recent surgery), you will need a signed clearance from a physician before you can get in the water.

Tip: Download the form early so you have time to visit a doctor if needed.

        ✈️ The "No-Fly" Rule

Remember the physiological limits of diving! You must wait at least 18 to 24 hours after your last dive before flying in an airplane. Please plan your travel itinerary accordingly so you don't miss your flight or your dives.

        🌊 Weather & Conditions

Diving is an outdoor activity subject to Mother Nature.

If conditions are unsafe (high winds or heavy swells), we may reschedule your dives or offer an alternative site.

If we have to cancel the course entirely due to weather, you will receive a full refund or a flexible rebooking option.

        📖 The eLearning Requirement

The PADI eLearning must be completed before your first day of practical training. This allows us to focus 100% on the fun stuff—the diving!
